Previously the Touch ‘n Go physical card is not able to link with the Touch ‘n Go mobile apps but now they have finally did an upgrade.
You Now Finally Check Your Physical Touch ‘n Go Card Balance on Your Apps
The Touch ‘n Go company has just updated its e-wallet app with a refreshed user interface and now you can add in your physical Touch ‘n Go card. Even if you own multiple cards, you can still keep track of your current card balances in a single app.
Unfortunately, if you have a Zing card (Maybank auto reload card), it is not support yet at the moment but if you’re using your IC as a Touch n’ Go card, you can find the serial number in the receipt slip that’s generated after performing a top up.
At this moment of time, you can only view balances at the moment and you can’t use the app to top up your physical TNG card or to transfer credit between cards.
Just do take note that the balance amount isn’t updated in real time and there’s a one-day delay thus you might not want to trust it fully. If you would like to keep track, you can see the timestamp of the last update in the app under each card.
BTW, Touch ‘n Go has a QR Transit function where you can use QR codes which you can flash at the gates as you enter and exit the LRT station. The good news is that it’s now running as a trial until 31 July 2018 and it covers 7 LRT stations on the Kelana Jaya line. This 7 stations includes Kelana Jaya, Universiti, Kerinchi, KL Sentral, Dang Wangi, KLCC and Ampang Park.
Wow, they certainly have move another steps!
