Viral Video Show a Man Fined Because Of Wife Sitting Next To him in a Car Were Actually Driving While Using Phone
A viral shared recently by a man who mentioned that he got fined due to sitting side by side with his wife were somehow has another real story behind it. As Defence Minister, Ismail Sabri has clarified that there are no such rules currently mentioned that 2 people can’t sit side by side in the same car which comes from the same household.
As the video which is being circulated on the internet, where after Defence Minister contacted the highest-ranking officer from IPD Bukit Aman and checked the situation which the truth was, the man has actually manipulated the whole incident which he was actually talking on the phone while driving, instead of being fined for the faked statement mentioned by him on the “fined due to sitting side by side with his wife”.
Therefore, for that netizen who shared these videos and commented blindly, please be more careful before circulating this untruth news as there are rules stated by Police enforcement that “The suspects could face a maximum fine of RM50,000 or serve a prison sentence of not more than a year or both. They could also face an additional RM1,000 fine if they continue to spread fake news while convicted.”
