A Malay woman, Fatima who supported her livelihood alone due to her husband’s illness and only relied on cleaning occupation to feed a family of seven at Kuala Kubu Bahru. Despite being rejected by her neighbours or those other people who mentioned that it is illegal to bear a dog as a Muslim, which ended up the District Council’s dog-catching team at the end of August come and arrested the dog, Wolf away.
But due to a warm relationship between her and the dog. She remembers that the day that District Council come and capture Wolf was her family deepest hard day where her whole family couldn’t even afford a proper meal. Plus she was then slapped with an RM100 fine which somehow is too much for her family to absorb it.
Fatima, who is the only person earning income to support the family due to her husband has salary cut by half due to MCO and were suffering from health condition plus he has just gone through his 2nd amputation. Meanwhile, Fatima cleaning business also somehow too a huge hit during the MCO time.
However, due to the strong bonding and love between her family with Wolf, Fatima quickly applies for a dog license and formally adopted the dog. Her kindness and unconditional love for Wolf should be an example for other humanity where there isn’t a rule that mentioned Muslim couldn’t own a pet dog.
