Maxis and Hotlink with Free 1GB data every day Until 31 December
When the government announced the National Economic Recovery Plan (PENJANA) a few days ago, it announced that it will continue to provide mobile phone users with 1GB of Internet traffic per day until December 31, 2020. Previously, this free 1GB was limited to 8 am to 6 pm every day, but from July 1 to December 31, 2020, it can be used 24 hours a day.
If the 1GB data is not used up, it will disappear automatically and will not be forwarded to the next day. In any case, it will not be auto-renewed, so users need to claim this 1GB every day. For Maxis and Hotlink Postpaid users, each time they claim 1GB, they will be overdue at 11:59 pm on the same day, and users must claim it again the next day.
For Hotlink prepaid users, the validity period will be 24 hours after claiming 1GB each time. For example, when the user claims it at 11:00 am today, it will be overdue at 10:59 am tomorrow. Also note that this free 1GB will not be suitable for browsing designated social media, games, and video websites or apps.
In addition, users will also be able to browse for free when browsing the designated government website or APP without consuming the original traffic, including:
