Live Streamer Sells Fake Laguna Redang Vacation RM399 3D2N Package & Taiwan Package With Free Proton X50 and more!
A Malaysian Live streamer who used to known as the “Prawn King” who has been selling live streaming seafood in the past, somehow sell Laguna Redang Island Resort during the 11.11 Single Day sales, for 3 Days 2 Night packages for RM399 for 2 pax including snorkeling, meals, 4-star hotel room, free 20″ luggage bag and Rm30 restaurant voucher which somehow ended up with more than 8,000 packages sold within 2 hours accumulating of total RM3.5 million.
As later on, Laguna Redang Island Resort claimed that there never had such a deal or even having such a transaction. Where Laguna resort stated that the packages sold on social media are not made by them or authorized by them.
Later on 11 November, the live streamer then trying to sell off another Taiwan trip which only sold out for 2,000 packages with a free Proton X50 as the grand prize. Which somehow caused some netizen to be aware of his earlier incident regarding the Laguna Redang Island Resort which somehow making them suspicious of his Taiwan package, which later on, this netizen even found out that the Lucky Winner lady of the Proton X50 has a Facebook account which has just recently open for a short time of period.
As for today!~ On the latest news, Laguna Redang Island Resort suddenly received an unauthorized sum amount of RM100,000 was banked into Laguna’s bank account on 11 November 2020 which Laguna has reported this matter to police immediately and requested the bank to remit the sum of RM100,000 back to the sender’s account.
This is one heck of wild stories, therefore please beware when you are making some really good deal happening during this CMCO time, as it might be fake. Hopefully, the police can investigate the truth of this whole incident and return back that money to those who are victims here.
