JPJ Allows MYEG To Update Driving License (CDL) From 16th Oct Onwards
With the current pandemic condition which is still lingering around, Land Transport Bureau (JPJ) has announced that the public will be able to update the motorcycle road tax (LKM / Road Tax Motosikal) through the myEG online system from October 9th, and the driver’s license (CDL) will be renewed from October 16th. ).
It is worth noting that the myEG online system can only update the official driver’s license (CDL), and those who learn to drive license (LDL) and provisional driver’s license (PDL) cannot be updated through the myEG online system.
At present, the myEG online system can update the road tax (LKM / RoadTax) of private cars, and the service of updating the road tax of motorcycles will be added from October 9.
In the past when the government implemented the Movement Control Order (PKP), many services under the Land Transport Bureau (JPJ) were not available. To this end, JPJ conducted a review and started to digitize JPJ’s services in response to the new normal.
MyEG road tax by updating method
- Step 1: Browse https://www.myeg.com.my/register registered a MyEG account.
- Step 2: After completing the account registration, you can log in to the MyEG account.
- Step 3: Select Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan, and then select Road Tax Renewal.
- Step 4: Enter ID number, name, license plate number, phone number, etc.
- Step 5: You can choose how to obtain the new road tax in the Collection Methods column.
- Step 6: After completing the update, you can receive the new road tax within 2 working days at the earliest.
