Guess IKEA knows us too well and sometimes we do need a lot more time to decide if you wanna hold on to a new purchase and IKEA Malaysia has decided to extend its return policy from the current 100 days to 365 days!

So now Yep, now you have 365 days to think over whether the furniture is suitable for you and you can return purchased items for an exchange or a full refund.

But of course, they would need to still be in their original packaging and more importantly, you need to have the original proof of purchase which is the receipt.

The new policy comes into effect today, 19 July, and marks IKEA as the first home furnishing retailer to introduce a year-long return policy for customers in Malaysia .. hooorraayyyy ….

One thing to take note is that IKEA’s return policy does not apply to cut fabric, used bedding, plants, kitchen/electrical appliances, products bought from As-Is section, goods ordered to specifications such as custom-made worktops, products damaged after leaving the store, as well as damaged items resulting from misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, and/or incorrect self-assembly.

This is a good new for people who have a fickle-minded!
