Here is some benefits that you need to know and it’s applicable to all employee that pays SOCSO (PERKESO). Pertubuhan Keselamataan Sosial (PERKESO), also known as SOCSO, had launched it’s free health screening program and it has been running since 2013
There is once condition though where this program is specifically caters to members who are working and 40 years of age and above.
Previously, all the eligible members are given health screening through physical vouchers distributed from their employers. On the vouchers, it will state the member’s name and I.C. number to prevent them from being sold to anyone.
But moving forward to the digital new world, PERKESO has now introduced an online voucherless method where you will receive a voucher number by SMS after signing up online.
So next question is how do you get this? Here are the steps for you to sign up for the voucherless method:
- Go to https://sihat.perkeso.gov.my/v2/myhspstatus.html
- Enter your I.C. number.
- Enter your mobile phone number and request for your TAC number.
- The TAC number will be sent to your phone via SMS.
- Enter the TAC number received on the website.
- The voucher number of the free health screening program will then be sent to you via SMS.
Now when you’re all done with the above, you can now go to a nearby clinic along with you I.C. and the voucher number for your free health screening. In case you’re wondering what’s the health screening provided and it’s as below:
Health screenings for females
- Blood and urine test,
- Blood pressure
- Pap smears
- Mammograms and a complete report by the doctor.
Health screening for males is lesser compared with female where it includes:
- Blood and urine test as well
- Blood pressure.
