COVID-19: PERKESO Will subsidize the Cost of Rm150 If you Have Covid-19 Disease
The Social Insurance Agency (PERKESO) launched the Program Saringan Prihatin (Program Saringan Prihatin) to provide employers with a subsidy of RM150 per employee to detect coronary disease.
Employers can allow employees to go to any clinic or unit approved by the Ministry of Health for coronary disease testing, but the employer must first advance the testing fee to the clinic or unit, and then apply for an RM150 allowance from the social insurance agency.
According to the guidelines issued by the social insurance agency on the official website, employers can contact any clinic or unit approved by the Ministry of Health and arrange for testing at a location agreed by both parties. Related tests are only allowed to be carried out in the form of polymerase chain reaction (Rt-PCR).
It should be noted that when an employee conducts a test, the employer must first bear the cost of the test, and then apply to the social insurance agency for allowances after the test is completed.
