CMCO: Updates On Some SOP Starting Today Midnight Onwards
With the recent announcement on Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya which will be going for 2 weeks time of Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) which will be starting 14th October – 27th October. Here are the full details of the SOP which everyone should be taking note:
1. Roadblock will be carried out and 2 people from the same family are allowed in the car during the purchase of necessities items. A high-risk person such as children and old citizens are not encouraged to go out.
2. Inter-state travel is only allowed with work permit or official and detailed world pass from the company.
3. For those who need to travel to the interstate for private reasoning, please head to the nearest police station or online for application on this inter-state journey.
4. Restaurant, Convenience store, kiosk, food trucks, food stalls and more can operate from 6am – 10pm.
5. Takeaway, delivery and drive-thru are encouraged during this period of time, however, for dine-in only 2 people is allowed per table.
6. Morning and Night market are allowed to operate but with strict SOP.
7. Petrol stations will be operating from 6am – 10pm, except those on highways.
8. Public transports will operate as usual, including e-hailing and taxi but only 2 customers per car.
9. Hospitals and clinics can operate for 24 hours while Pharmacies can only operate from 8am – 11pm only.
10. All recreational & entertainment centre, as well as the educational centre, are not allowed to operate.
11. All outdoor activities that don’t exceed 10 person or non-contact sport can still be carried out.
