Banci 2020 or E-Census Postponed Again Till 21 December With on-Site Interview Starting Next Year
The online census was postponed again until December 21. As most people have not received the invitation code, and coupled with the increase in the epidemic, Statistics Malaysia decided to postpone the date again!
The Department of Economic Affairs of the Prime Minister’s Department issued a notice this evening that the second phase of official visits to the census will begin on October 7 and will be extended to January 20 next year.
How to get Invitation Code
Step 1: Visit https://ecensusreg.mycensus.gov.my/ for pre-registration
Step 2: Fill in the name, ID number, email address, contact number, residential address and other information.
Step 3: Fill in and submit it.
Step 4: You will receive an email titled Pengesahan e-mel Pra Pendaftaran e-Census.
Step 5: Click on Sahkan disini in the email and Pengesahan Berjaya will appear on the page.
Step 6: Wait for about a week, you will receive a set of Invitation Code.
How to fill in the census questionnaire online
Step 7: Browse https://ecensus.mycensus.gov.my/sign-up, enter the Invitation Code, name, email address and mobile number, and click Daftar
Step 8: Enter the OTP received by the email
Step 9: Follow the instructions to complete the census process
