It’s seems like it’s been ages since Apple released a new phone. The last time it was iPhone X which costs a bomb and so now the rumours about the next iPhone are starting, that’s just how it works.
According To Top Analyst – Apple to Launch “Cheaper iPhone” This Year
News as according to reports from Ming-Chi Kuo, who has been pretty spot on in the past, there could be a cheap new phone on its way – costing $550, around £390. The KGI Securities analyst has known for revealing the latest ‘news’ where it has previously predicted details about facial recognition, the price and the camera specs. Would say that their new is quite accurate!
He is saying that the new model will be cheaper than previous updates and is going to have a 6.1inch display, making it even bigger than older iPhone Plus models.
The new model is also rumoured to feature a LCD screen and will still contain a lot of the impressive specs from the iPhone X including the TrueDepth camera, which is used to support Face ID. It will also have an edge-to-edge display, according to early reports.
The Sun reports that Kuo thinks the company is lowering its prices to ‘increase market share in China’. Everybody is now aiming fr the China big market. Previously, he has reckons that the high-priced iPhone X (selling for $999/£999) was struggling to sell, because, although people were ‘interested’ in the phone they didn’t fancy spending so much on a phone.
The current cheap option is the iPhone SE, which you can pick up from around £350, but as it was released in 2016, it’s not the most up-to-date gadget you can get your hands on and it features a teeny 4inch display.
There have been rumours that an iPhone SE2 will be launched later this year, but it’s all just guesswork and hearsay at this point.
Apple Insider has previously estimated that the tech-giant will be releasing three models this year – this new cheap option, a iPhone X 2 and a generously-sized iPhone X Plus, which it predicts will have a 6.inch screen. So, we’re all going to need to grow bigger hands between now and then.
Guess all these are just rumour and until we get the official news, Apple fans just have to wait and see
