Another splendid work from Air Asia where They are offering Special Rate From AirAsia For GE14
Earlier when the election dates were announced, when people checked on the AirAsia portal and the fees was scary as hell! The flight ticket costs RM1000++ for coming back to Malaysia for election.
Tony has promised that he will fulfil his duty to allow the Malaysian to come home and vote with a special rate and he is indeed the man of his word.
After firming up the price and the overwhelming response to vote for GE14, the AirAsia team has launched their fixed fares.
How much does it costs, if you’re wondering?
- Within Peninsular Malaysia & East Malaysia – RM99
- Peninsular Malaysia – Sarawak – RM129
- Peninsular Malaysia – Sabah – RM199

Not just the fix fare but according to Tony Fernandez official Facebook Page, AirAsia will freeze whatever capacity they have and have fixed fares on the 8th and 9th to allow people to have low fares to go home and vote. And put on extra capacity using whatever planes we have if the demand is there .
AirAsia has not been the first to offer where as Cathay has previously announce that there will waive of the surchange for Malaysian who wish to come back to vote for election.
