With those, earlier virals message going around mentioned that police are giving out fine for those who didn’t wear masks while driving which will get you caught for rm1,000 on each person is actually not true.
This news that warns the public on face mask should be worn all the time and not in restaurant by the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) and here are the proof and updates on the incoming Aug New Face mask rules.
First of all, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that wearing a face mask in public will be made mandate starting 1st August, so police cannot find people rm1,000 if the order haven’t been implemented yet. Secondly, Ismail only mentioned that the face mask is mandatory in crowded public places and public transportation areas and not in private vehicles.
Even on the National Security Council (NSC) has disapproved a similar message that was circulating last week. So dear all Malaysia, pandai-pandai la if you get questioned and show them the proof. 😀
