We have just completed the historic moment yesterday as Tun Mahathir has just sworn in as our 7th Prime Minister. Most of us wasn’t born early to witness the Independent Day 60 years ago, but we are glad we were here to witness this today on 10th May 2018.

We would like to take a look back at Tun Dr. Mahathir political journey and how did he get all the way here for 2nd term as Prime Minister of Malaysia.
1) He was born and raised in Alor Setar, Kedah and Tun Mahathir excelled at school and became a medical doctor.
2) He became active in the UMNO before entering Parliament in 1964.
3) He was being expelled from UMNO after falling out with Tunku Abdul Rahman and after Tunku resigned, Tun Mahathir re-entered UMNO and Parliament, and was promoted to the Cabinet.
4) Tun Mahathir was part of the reason for Tunku Abdul Rahman resignation from the post of Prime Minister after Tunku was criticism by the Malay “Young Turks,” headed by Tun Mahathir
5) AT 1976 he had risen to Deputy Prime Minister, and in 1981 was sworn in as Prime Minister after the resignation of his predecessor, Hussein Onn.
6) He was instrumental in playing a role of the resignation of Tun Hussein Onn at 1981 as the 3rd Prime Minister ke-3 through pressure of Datuk Harun and role of Sulaiman Palestin.
7) Tun Mahathir has appointed Tun Musa Hitam as Deputy Prime Minister in 1981 and he was also the reason why Tun Musa Hitam resigned at 1986.
8) Tun Mahathir then promoted Tun Ghafar Baba in 1986 and he has also the reason why Tun Ghafar Baba resigned in 1993.
5) After that, Tun Mahathir promoted Anwar Ibrahim, but Anwar Ibrahim was fired in 1998 as Deputy Prime Minister
6) Tun Mahathir promoted Pak Lah, sebagai Perdana Menteri ke-5 but he put pressure on Pak Lah to resigned because he wasn’t performing as Prime Minister of Malaysia. Pak Lah serve as Prime Minister from 2004 till 2008.
7) After Pak Lah Tun Mahathir elected Dato Seri Najib the 6th Prime Minister. Tun Mahathir requested Dato Seri Najib to resigned due to non performing but Dato Seri insisting on the post. Tun Mahathir has no choice but was force to fight Dato Seri Najib in democratic was. Dato Seri Najib served as Prime Minister from 2008 till 2018.
If you look back at history, Malaysia’s 7 most influential leader downfall was due to Tun Mahathir. Tun Mahathir made them leader and he was also their downfall but Tun Mahathir did this for the sake of the country growth and Rakyat benefits
After 15 years because Malaysia wasn’t going as planned and heading toward downfall, Tun Mahathir has take the decision to join back the political to save Malaysia from this downfall. He has made history of becoming oldest Prime Minister
