According to Lee Chong Wei, he was stunned and blame himself for not teaching about his son on the fasting month and he told his song that he is not wrong but his friend was actually begging to fast this month, and the teacher asks him to eat at a corner as a sign of respect their friend. So he should advise other Indian and Chinese friends to show support to his Malay friends during this fasting month and learn to be tolerant and respectful of each other too.

However, Lee Chong Wei also said that his now 8-year-old son is starting to show a rebellious attitude as his son replies to him that why he needs to tolerate it because if he wants to eat it is his will and they are fasting so it is their problem. Before Lee Chong Wei could express his anger, his wife Wong Mew Choo hit the child on his hand, and later Lee Chong Wei explained to his son that if he does not tolerate, he will no longer be Amli and Syihan’s friend and imagine if you don’t tolerate you won’t be able to enjoy the Chinese New Year with firecrackers and Thaipusam with his Indian friends.
