Stranded On Kuala Lipis-Raub Road Due To Floods, This Man BbQ Fish On RoadSide and Treat Everyone
As we all know, some states are currently hit by severe floods that cause landslides and some major roads are closed due to flooding. On average, highway users who want to return to their respective destinations have to use the village road as an alternative road.
However, they had to travel a long way apart from being trapped in severe congestion due to many vehicles using the same road. In fact, there is no rest and treatment (R&R) area to stop refueling or lining a hungry stomach after a day of raining.
That is what happened through a sharing by an individual on Twitter @imimaysrunnia , when his parents-in-law experienced the same situation, trapped in Jalan Kuala Lipis-Raub for 24 hours without food supply. Fortunately, his father-in-law who happened to bring fresh fish acted to share his fortune with other highway users who were also trapped in the same area.
They gotong-royong by finding firewood and burning fish by the side of the highway before tasting the grilled fish dish en masse. It’s epic! Citizens who flooded the comment section praised the attitude of Malaysians who are united despite not knowing each other. It will be the most valuable experience to be remembered and told to future generations.
