(MALAYSIA 1st JUNE 2020) Health Director Malaysia announced that there are no new death case of Covid-19 for the 10th consecutive day. The number of deaths is currently maintained at 115, or the mortality rate is 1.47%.
He said that as of 12:00 noon, there were 38 new cases of Covid-19 diagnosed in Malaysia, with a total of 7,857 cases; 51 people were discharged today, and the cumulative number of cured patients reached 6,404, accounting for 81.5% of the total cases. There are still 1,338 cases that are active cases that can infect others.
He said that of the 38 new cases added today, 26 were imported from abroad, 12 were local infections, 6 of them were non-Malaysian citizens, and 6 were confirmed patients of Malaysian origin.
There are currently 8 people in the intensive care unit (ICU), and 2 of them need breathing aids.
