(MALAYSIA, 28th MAY 2020) Today new cases of Covid-19 hit a new low, not far from single digits! Malaysia Health Director announced that the number of newly diagnosed Covid-19 today dropped to 10, with a total of 7,629 Covid-19 cases.This is also the lowest number of confirmed cases in a single day since the Movement Control Order(MCO) was implemented on 18th March 2020.
He said that all 10 people diagnosed were local infections, and 5 of them were non-Malaysian citizens; there are no imported cases from abroad today.
In addition, Malaysia had no death case for 6 consecutive days, and the total deaths cases remained at 115.
There were 86 cases of recovery and discharge today, and a total of 6,169 cases of completed recovery, accounting for 80.9% of the total number of diagnoses.
As for the active cases that are still being treated in hospitals, there are currently 1,345 people. 8 of them are in the intensive care unit and 4 people need breathing aids.
