The new government is here to rectify the previous government’s mistakes and to lead the country to a better tomorrow.

The new Pakatan Harapan understand that there were some illegal collected taxes thus they have decided to return “illegally” collected taxes to those who’ve paid more than they should, reported Malaysiakini.

On the interview on RTM1, our 7th prime minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has said that Putrajaya will try to return “illegal” tax collected from individuals and businesses.

According to the special interview with Tun Mahathir, it’s informed that there were some individuals and businesses that were forced to pay more taxes than was required by the Internal Revenue Board (IRB).

Prior to this, two years ago (2016), the IRB had reportedly collected taxes more than they should because Malaysia wasn’t making enough money due to low oil prices.

Would have to say that so far, the new government has been really impressive. They are fast and efficient and we can see that there would be more better change coming for better Malaysia!!
