Malacca@Jonker Streets is Facing Serious Pandemic Issue as Streets Is Empty on a German Traveller Video
As time is getting tougher and tougher now due to the pandemic and spiking amount of daily new infected case by Covid-19, a German traveler in Malaysia has shared a video of his efforts to buy something from every single vendor in the empty Jonker-street in Malacca. In his 15 minutes video, the 29 yo Ken Doscher (aka Ken Abroad) mentioned that it is a little bit sad to see almost no shops are open during this time and this is because of the Covid-19 where a to of customer is not coming over.
Where the previous Jonker street was bustling with people before the Movement Control Order (MCO) in March and now it is only having a handful of stalls open. Ken even when through a chatter session with every single stall owner and all the stall owners were trying to stay positive despite the current condition.
Ken who found himself trapped in Malaysia after the entire world began to shut down, which he chooses to remain upbeat despite the global lockdowns. And he decided to make the video to support the locals Malaysian who is doing business and spread some positive message on how important it is to support local business during this time of the pandemic.
