As what we all know, Proton has sold it’s 49.9% stock to Chinese company Geely mid-last year and everybody has been eager awaits for their new car coming out.
As per reported by Malaysia Reserve, the Proton SUV will be based on the Geely Boyue, a five-seat SUV. The Boyue was designed by former Volvo designer Peter Horbury, who currently heads Geely’s design studios
There was a video (circulated online) that has recorded the interior of the car and we would have to say it’s pretty damn impressive and it has the luxury feel with the car.
Before launching the new Proton SUV, the car will undergo rigorous testing and evaluation processes which include NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) and SIRIM (Scientific and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia) before it is launched for the local market
Good news is that the price of the rebadged Boyue will be set at an affordable range.
So what you think of the new Proton SUV model?
To be honest, would have to say really impressed with this model. Let us know you comments below:
