When you just can’t think of Malaysian getting creative at any point. You might be shocked by this business owner because he just converted a normal Kancil into a food truck in a very creative way. Yes, the beloved Kancil by Perodua which is loved by a lot of Malaysians and helped a lot of families easing their trips around Malaysia.
The owner of this business, Yahya Che’ an, 65-years-old is a ex-lorry driver and he started selling murtabak megi as part-time job since 30 years ago. Only on 2012 when he decided to put his full focus on this business because he needs to feed his six children.
Yahya, who fully customized this Kancil using the equipment from the car workshop he started several years ago and converted this kancil into a totally run-able kitchen or stall. Yahya also mentioned that with just 2 liters of petrol, it would be enough for the distance from Petronas in Batang Kali to his house.
The murtabak they are selling is just Rm3 per piece and for school children, they can get it RM1 for a smaller piece.
