Health Minister Announced That They May Lift the Interstate Travel Ban as Early As March 18
Malaysia’s Movement Control Order 2.0 (MCO 2.0) has comes to an end with the Conditional Movement Control Order (RMCO) has been lifted for interdistrict travel restriction except Sabah. If you are eagerly wanted to go for travel on other states, Health Minister Dr Adham Baba has indicated that interstate travel ban may be lifted as early as 18th March 2021 if Malaysia’s COVID-19 numbers decline to manageable numbers.
Dr Adham also said that they have learnt from a year on the various movement control order restrictions and they know that the interstate travel restriction is one of the important measurement to combat the COVID-19 cases. The Minister also mention that the government is now cautiously looking at allowing interstate travel between green bubbles zone.
