GST Abolishment is coming True as Tun M Instructed To Stop Collecting GST
This was made official when The Finance Ministry today announced that the goods and services tax (GST) rate will be reduced from six percent to zero percent. There has being statement being release from the Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia (KKM)
The good news announcement came shortly after Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced that he had instructed the government to stop collecting GST!! OMG … This is really coming true!
But when will this be official? According to the statement from KKM, the stopping of GST collection will start on 1 Jun 2018
This might sounds like a good news but the government will be imposing the SST (Sales Services Tax) to replace the GST and they are still studying on how it will be implemented.
