Generous Terengganu Woman Set up A Stall to Help Those in Tight Budget by Selling RM1 Breakfast
A woman in Terengganu has set up a stall by selling RM1 breakfast in Kampung Tasik Padang Khabor to help out those who are facing difficulties during this time of the pandemic. You can find food such as nasi lemak, nasi minyak, rice porridge, fried noodles, cakes, and several types of kuih are selling at her stall.
She, which is known as Nurul Hidayu has started her business around 14 October where she just have 4 items for sale at that time and later on she expanded her menu and offer up to 70 different items on one single day. Nurul Hidayu mentions that she is not aiming to make a huge profit but then she hopes that her RM1 breakfast will be able to feed those who are being hurt badly by the current economy and Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
She actually got a good response from customers and also online netizens where some even mentioned that “Usually, cheap food doesn’t taste great but this stall is different, all the food I’ve tried here is good,” said 18-year-old Nurin Nazirah Mohd Noor.
The number of food packs provided every day is between 800 to 1,200 with the peak hours of his stall being raided by customers usually between 7 to 8 am while around 9 am all food packs have been sold out
