ADUN Claims Puncak Alam is Malay Territory Which He Requested Cold Storage to Close Down Non-Halal Section, Causing Some Netizen Outrage
The Selangor Assemblymen (ADUN Jeram) Shaid Rosli has posted on this Facebook that he has sent a memorandum to the operational manager of Jaya Grocer lastest branch at Ecoworld, Bandar Puncak Alam where he stated that the Puncak Alam is consist of 90% of Muslim therefore, the management of Jaya grocers has agreed to seal the entrance of the Alcohol and Non-Halal section of the store after receiving the objection and it was based on a petition signed by 5,522 people on the support of the motion to ban alcohol selling in the premises.

While most were in support of the Adunn, however, some netizen was accused of him trying to incite racial differences and netizen were calling the store out until they reopen back the non-halal section. In response to the backlash, Jaya Grocer responded by saying that they have heard everyone’s concerns and will keep them updated via social media.
So is anyone staying at Puncak Alam has something to clarified here?
