Domestic Tourism Travel Between RMCO States Allowed by 10 Mar But With Restriction
Domestic tourism travel between states under the recovery movement control order (RMCO) will be allowed effective tomorrow which were announced by Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. However such travel organised by government registered tour agencies must obtain prior approval from the police before they can proceed, while travelling in a personal capacity is prohibited too.
He also emphasised that travel from states under the conditional movement control order (CMCO) to RMCO-imposed states and vice versa was prohibited. The National Security Council (NSC) technical meeting after conducting the risk assessment with government agencies involved and it was recommended from the Health ministry. This permit are under travel services offered by tour agencies registered with Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry (MOTAC) only.
