Discounts On Replacement iPhones Batteries For Older iPhones

Earlier, Apple has admitted that they have slowed down the older model iPhones in order to counter their issue on aging batteries.

On last Thursday (28th December), Apple has officially issued an apology to all of their customers on their actions and given news on the Replacement iPhones Batteries For Older iPhones

On their same statement, Apple has also promised that it will “give users more visibility into the health of their iPhone’s battery” and let people see whether their battery’s age affects their phone’s performance.

Apple will also be offering a discount on battery replacements to users with an iPhone 6 or later. The battery replacement will cost $29 instead of $79 starting in late January. This new cheaper price is more in line with third-party repair shops.

Here is the Malaysia version statement where the costs of the battery will be available for RM129 where the original price is RM369. If you’re having an iPhone 6 or later and need the replacement, you can do it by December 2018 as stated

You can go to the nearest Machines to check out the battery replacement scheme. Aside from Machines, you can also check out Switch Malaysia as well as reported on their website, you can also replace it there as well!

Apple is now facing a serious problem as they are now facing at least eight lawsuits from iPhone owners in places such as California, New York, New Jersey and Israel. The suits ask the company to pay iPhone owners varying amounts and the one California suit seeks nearly $1 trillion in damages.

At this moment, Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the suits or the investigation.
