Couple Wronged For Wearing Pink Wristband and Spark False Alarm
As we all very super alert with PINK wristband lately due to the increasing COVID cases. According to local news, a couple of young man and woman were spotted wearing a pink wristband at the Penang Hill earlier on Sunday (2 Aug) which a lot of netizens assumed that they were breaching the Home Surveillance Order (HSO) and even got netizen lodged a police report against them and it turns out the person is not under PUS.
After the investigation, the 21-year-old man who is a factory operator and a 22-year-old shop assistant who are both from Butterworth which they have gone to a pet shop at New World Park at 12.30 are where the pink wristbands come with the words Husky and The Gang which are put on them by the employees there as it is a requirement to go up to the cafe on the upper floor and happens this couple was wearing this wristband which they need to go out and come back to the cafe laterwards.
The dog cafe’s owner was surprised by this and they mentioned that they would change the color if urged by authorities.
