(Putrajaya 9th May 2020) The Ministry of Health issued a statement today stating that as of 12:00 noon, 54 new cases of Covid-19 were diagnosed in Malaysia, which was double digits for the seventh consecutive day, with a total of 6,589 cases; (1.63%).
The notice pointed out that 65 people were cured and discharged today, a total of 4,929 people, accounting for 74.8%.
“There are currently 18 people in the intensive care unit, 6 of whom need breathing aids.”
At present, there are 1,552 cases in Malaysia that are active cases that might have chances to infect others.
The Ministry of Health canceled its daily routine press conference today, and the Director of Health Malaysia was able to take a day off.
