RM100-public-transport - News

“In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Haji, we have decided to ‘korban’ (sacrifice) the RM435 million.

“And starting Sept 1, there will not be such discounts. This is just a one-off.

“For the next five years under the Pakatan Harapan government there will not be a second time,”

This is considered a present from our government and there wouldn’t be any second time for this waiver!

The sad news is that for those who have paid up the AES, there would not be any refund. It’s reported that there are 659,934 summons (amounting RM700,000) which were already paid.

Aside from that the AES, will continue to exists but government will be taking back over from the concession companies (ATES and Beta Tegap) and it will be directly manage by our own government

Hoorrraayy for the waiver but we need to make sure no more summon after this as we need to abide by to the traffic laws.
