You can now register your Business for SSM with the New Online System, From RM30 per annual only!

You don’t need to go to SSM in person to register a business, just go online! The minimum annual fee is only RM30!

To register a business, you don’t need to go to SSM in person, you just need to register through the EzBiz official website, which is super convenient! EzBiz is a 24/7 online business registration website provided by SSM. Users can register new business/company, change or terminate the company.

• Malaysian citizens or permanent residents
• Over 18 years old

SSM registered company fee

• Personal registration: RM30.00 per year
• Brand registration: RM60.00 per year
• Branch registration: RM5.00 per year

Registration steps

1. Visit https://ezbiz.ssm.com.my
2. Click Sign Up
3. Enter the ID number and name
4. Click MyBusiness Services, select New Business
5. Select the type, name, and start date of the registration you want to register
6. Choose the registration period (1 year to 5 years)
7. If you want to purchase the intended information, you can select Yes in Business Info
8. If you have a business in Sarawak and use the Incubator service, you must select Yes in the [Incubator] field; otherwise, select No
9. If you want to go online, you must select Yes in the [Is Online Seller] field; otherwise, select No
10. Enter the address
11. If you have multiple divisions, you must fill in the address information in the [Branches Information] column
12. In the [Types of Business] column, enter the words relevant to your intentions
13. Click Add Business Code and select the relevant Business Code
14. Full payment of the registration fee

Here are some additional information for you to take note of:

• Register the business not later than thirty (30) days from the date of commencement of business.
• A new business registration may valid for a period of one (1) year and does not exceed five (5) years on each registration.
• The nature of the registered business should not contravene any laws or likely to be used for unlawful purposes or any purpose prejudicial to or incompatible with the security of the Federation, public order or morality.
• Business Registration Certificate can be obtained within one (1) hour from the time payment is made.
• Even though businesses have been registered with SSM, business owners are responsible to obtain licenses, permits or approval letters from other relevant authorities in order to operate their businesses.
