The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has tightened cross-state permits starting yesterday, 15 April, following an increase in Covid-19 infection cases and Deputy Inspector, General of Police Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani confirmed there is an exception for those who can interstate travel but it is subjected to those three situations.
Crossing state borders is only allowed for immediate family emergency cases (must attach supporting documents), death, and long-distance spouses.
