She was dumbfounded after waze show that she is within 10km radius and even check with other apps
With the Movement Control Order (MCO) phase 2.0 which has started around January where we all aware that we can’t travel further than 10 km radius from our home. As on Sunday, 24 January where a woman living in Petaling Jaya, Selangor shared that she has been driving out for her grocery nearby when suddenly she was stopped at a police roadblock at Jalan Persiaran Surian where she was fined Rm1,000 for breaching the distance radius set by the MCO 2.0.
According to her where she is pretty sure that the Waze was showing that she is within 10 km radius while the officer told her that her mobile app is not accurate and the officer issue her the fine of RM 1,000. Where she basically dumbfounded after the fined was issue to her as she is very certain that she is within the 10 km radius, and it was the first time she get blocked.

In addition to her confusion over the violation she said that the police also asked her to pay the fine at the Ministry of Health (MOH) where she wonders if the MOH office was over 10 km away she will get another fine? And the officer replied to her that they will not issue another fine as the fine has already been issued. Which she becomes totally confused with the logic.
The police officer also told her to order online the next time she needs to make her food or groceries purchase where she finds that it makes no sense for her to order the food online for every meal of the week and afterwards she went home feeling dissapointed, and she even double-checked on other apps which she is very certain that she is didn’t flout the 10 km radius at all. Another netizen shared their concern over the issue and some even offered help to help her out.
