USM Introduce Social Acceptance Level Wristband Alerts And It is A Cool Idea
As we are still facing the current Covid-19 daily new safety measurement, sometimes it will be hard to know what are the acceptance level of every single individual. But thankfully, the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) has taken their twitter page to showcase their latest invention of social acceptance level wristband.
They wrote, “As we are moving forward and the university is resuming, interactions will increase. Some might not be comfortable to talk about their social acceptance level in public places especially in the workplace, classes and labs. This idea can be a useful visual indicator for better interaction.”
Red – Strict social distancing believer
Yellow – Cool with talking but not touching
Green – Good for fist bumps (but you’ll have to wash your hands after!)
This way, if you’re someone who doesn’t mind talking but don’t want to be touched, you can avoid that awkward conversation about why you’d prefer others to keep their hands to themselves.
