The Employment Insurance Scheme (EIS) has been fully implemented from January 1, 2019. People who are unemployed will be entitled to benefits such as job search allowance, early employment allowance, and training allowance.

If you have paid premiums for up to 16 months, you can get 80% of your salary in the first month after unemployment, 50% of your second month’s salary, and 40% of your third and fourth month’s salary.
