Good news that Touch n Go will be able to use in China!
Could this be an initiative from Malaysia company trying to breakthrough to China market (or the other way round) as Jack Ma has mentioned that soon Touch n Go will be able to use in China
Well … Touch n Go apps is not something new and this has been released to public earlier March this year but there is not much people are aware and downloaded it.
Jack Ma has announce that the 80,000 Malaysian who have Malaysia version of Alipay – Touch n Go will be able to be used to make payment in China soon.
Jack Ma also said Ant Financial Services has mentioned the importance of Malaysia China relation and they would continue to strengthen cooperation with its Malaysian partner to make this a reality, he said in an interview with Sin Chew Daily.
As reported by The Star, Jack Ma said Alibaba believed Kuala Lumpur should be a cashless society, adding: “Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad told me during our meeting that he was amazed at the technology of the cashless society in India. It was Alibaba that assisted India to develop its e-commerce payment system Paytm.”
We really do hope that we can soon see the cashless society in Malaysia with more adoption to use the cashless system.
The truth is that the Touch n Go app has launched since March but it’s not that popular yet in Malaysia. This could be due to the apps and the Touch n Go card can’t synchronized between each other. This could be the reason why the adoption of this apps is low (only downloaded by 50,000 people ++).
Have you downloaded this?
If you want to feel canggih .. then quickly get it downloaded … else people will be laughing you not up to the technology standard 🙂
