Touch and Go Is allowing all user to reload TNG card via eWallet by end 2021

The Touch ‘n Go new CEO, Effendy Shahul Hamid as now all customer will soon have the option to purchase Touch ‘n Play cards which it can be reloaded direct from their phones using Touch ‘n Go eWallet where this feature will be roll out by end of 2021. However, you might need to replace your existing TNG card where this new feature may require a phone with NFC features similar to Hong Kong’s Octopus card.
Currently, Touch n’ Go eWallet has a PayDirect feature which allow you to pay for toll with your eWallet when you tap your Touch ‘n Go card. By linking your physical TNG card in the app and the tol charges will be auto deducted from your eWallet instead of the card’s balance.

You can also enable auto reload for your eWallet where you don’t worry about topping up your card just to pay for tolls and this is only supported at a selected highway and the feature doesn’t top up your physical card balance. With the latest major announcement where now Touch n’ Go parking is waived surcharge for the first quarter of this year. Current the Former Deputy Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Minister, Chong Chieng Jen has previously mentioned that the 10% parking surcharge as it was inherited from the previous Barisan Nasional government.
Other than this, the 50 sen surcharge for TNG card reload, where the fee was charged by agents to defray the cost of providing reload services and the 50 sent goes directly to the agent which performed the reload service.
