Thief Break in Attempt Fails After Pet Guard Dog Chase Him and He ended Up on the Roof
Recently on 15 February, a thief failed breaking into a house in Taman Khidmat, Sabah after two pets belonging to the owner of the house chased him out which resulted that the thief climbing up the roof. As the incident occur at 12.30pm where the criminal attempted to break into the house, but his presence was noticed by the owner of the house and the owner contacted the police immediately.
The 38-year-old criminal was eventually arrested by the police later, the Kota Kinabalu District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Habibi Majinji said, the initial investigation found that the suspect was believed to have been trying to break into the house. As the criminal are doing so, he was chased by two dogs which made it difficult for him to escape, and he had to climb up to the roof to escape them.

Kota Kinabalu: Bukan saja gagal memecah masuk sebuah rumah di Taman Khidmat, di sini, semalam, malah terpaksa memanjat bumbung selepas dikejar dua anjing peliharaan pemilik kediaman berkenaan.
Itu nasib malang seorang penjenayah berusia 38 tahun yang akhirnya ditahan polis.
Dalam kejadian jam 12.30 tengah hari itu, kehadiran suspek disedari pemilik rumah sebelum menghubungi polis.
Ketua Polis Daerah Kota Kinabalu Asisten Komisioner Habibi Majinji berkata, siasatan awal mendapati suspek dipercayai cuba memecah masuk ke rumah berkenaan.
Bagaimanapun katanya, suspek dikejar dua anjing menyebabkan dia sukar melarikan diri dan terpaksa memanjat bumbung rumah.
“Kehadiran suspek disedari penghuni rumah berusia 65 tahun yang terus menghubungi polis untuk mendapatkan bantuan segera.
“Sepasukan polis terus bergegas ke tempat kejadian sebelum berjaya menahan suspek dan membawanya ke Balai Polis Luyang untuk tindakan selanjutnya,” katanya ketika dihubungi, hari ini.
Habibi berkata, ketika ditahan, suspek turut didapati memegang sebatang besi.
Katanya, hasil ujian air kencing terhadap suspek didapati positif syabu.
“Semakan turut mendapati suspek mempunyai satu rekod lampau di IPD Kota Belud, mengikut Seksyen 15 (1) (a) Akta Dadah Berbahaya (ADB) 1952.
“Suspek kini ditahan reman untuk siasatan lanjut dan kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 447 Kanun Keseksaan,” katanya.

On the arrest, the suspect were also found holding an iron rod and also his urine test were found positive for syabu and the suspect also has a previous record at Kota Belud IPD on Section 15 (1) (a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act (ADB) 1952.
