The Ministry of Health has tested 5 toxic ingredients in beauty products, and people are urged not to buy them

The National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) of the Ministry of Health announced that it has monitored five types of cosmetics containing various toxic ingredients, prohibiting the sale of related cosmetics in Malaysia, and urged the public to avoid buying and using related cosmetics.
Some of the product has side effects
The Pharmaceutical Supervision Group has cancelled the sales license of the above-mentioned products, and related products are not allowed to be sold in Malaysia. Using products containing these toxic ingredients without professional hygiene consultation can cause side effects
The agency reminds merchants selling and distributing the above-mentioned products that they must stop selling the products immediately, otherwise they will violate the 1984 Drug and Cosmetic Control Regulations. Individuals convicted of first offenses can be sentenced to imprisonment not exceeding 25,000 ringgits and not exceeding 3 years. Or both, a fine of no more than RM50,000 or no more than 5 years’ imprisonment for a second offence; a fine of no more than RM50,000 for the first offence and a fine of up to RM100,000 for a second offence.
The public who have used the above-mentioned products are urged to stop using them immediately and seek medical treatment in the event of any discomfort and adverse drug reactions.
