The Ministry of Education: School starts as scheduled on 20 Jan, While Home Study For MCO Area Student

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) on its Facebook page on January 11, candidates who face SPM, STPM, SVM, SKM, STAM and DVM exams in 2020 and 2021 will be Be allowed to go back to school. This measure applies to all states and territories across the country.

Penang, Selangor, Malacca, Johor, Sabah, and the Federal Territories (Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan) will implement the Movement Control Order (MCO). All primary and secondary schools in Pahang, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Kedah, Terengganu, Kelantan, Perlis, and Sarawak need to follow the promulgated school timetable, and return to school from January 20 to start face-to-face classes.
