The Biggest Drug Capture by Custom with Drugs worth up to RM5.2 Billion

On 23 March, the Malaysian Custom Department manage to shared on the Facebook that they have managed to capture a massive drug bust which the operation managed to curb and international cartel by seizing up to 94.6 million amphetamine pills that were hidden in a shipment of trolley wheels. The pills were estimated to weigh about 16 tonnes (16,000KG) in total and worth RM5.2 billion.
The shipment arrived in Pork Klang from a country in the Middle East which is believe it will be sent out to East Asia and the drug bust was a success with intel-sharing between Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Home Affairs and the Royal Police. This case will be investigated under Section 39B(1)(a) of The Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and anyone found guilty will be sentenced to death.
