The 25yo Suspect of the Hit & Run Accident on Grand Saga Highway Which Cause a Mother Dead on Spot With a 1-month-Old Baby Get Arrested
Earlier on a freak hit-and-run accident which happens on the Grand Saga Highway on 23 December where the driver of the suspected car have hit a victims’ car were finally arrested and detained by the police yesterday.
The Kajang Deputy Chief of Police Superintendent Mohd Sabri Abdullah said that the 25-year-old suspect was arrested at his home in Cheras at 2.30pm. The suspect admitted to the accident after initial interrogation. As the police forces managed to found the suspect’s car after being guided by the suspect which were hidden in the Pandan Indah area as there was still damage to the vehicle. The suspect will be brought over to Kajang Court tomrrow to obtain a remand order and the case will be investigated in accordance with Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
The accident which happens on 23 December, in which a family involved in the hit-and-run accident caused the car to spiral six times before overturned and result in 1 death and 5 injured. Khoo Suat Teng, 36 who was sitting in the front passenger seat, die at the scene after being thrown out of the vehicle with her baby who are just 1 month old, among other victims were Suat Teng’s husband and her children aged 14, 11 and 9.
