TEKUN Mobilepreneur 4.0 Financing Scheme to Help Riders on Goods & Necessities Delivery

TEKUN Nasional has open up opportunities for those who have lost their job earlier and wanted to work as a rider for food, goods, and daily necessities delivery company through the TEKUN Mobilepreneur 4.0 program which is launched for 2021. This is capital financing to delivery service entrepreneurs using motorcycles.
This program is a government initiative under TEKUN Nasional to help those whose income is affected due to the spread of COVID-19 and the Implementation of the Movement Control Order (PKP) starting March 18, 2020.
Through this scheme, financing is provided to entrepreneurs for the following purposes:
- Purchase of motorcycles
- Motorcycle repair
- Revolving capital
The following are the eligibility requirements to apply for the TEKUN Mobilepreneur 2.0 Financing Program.
- Malaysian Citizen (Bumiputera / India)
- Aged 18-60 years (Financing period expires up to 65 years).
- The applicant is not bankrupt.
- Have a valid B1 / B2 driving license.
- Have a valid appointment with a registered e-hailing company.
- Have your own registered and legal motorcycle – for motorcycle repair applications and working capital.
- Submit the original document of the quotation for the purchase of a motorcycle from a legitimate supplier – for the application to purchase a motorcycle.
- Involved directly or part-time in business activities.
- Participants must comply with the guidelines and terms and conditions enforced by the Ministry of Public Transport (MOT)
- Applicants who receive a letter of support and are recommended by any e-Hailing company are given priority.
Total Financing for TEKUN Mobilepreneur 4.0
The Financing Value of RM1,000 – RM10,000 according to the purpose of the application is as follows:
- Purchase of motorcycles
- Motorcycle repair
- Revolving capital
The repayment period of the financing is 1 year to 3 years. The profit rate charged is 4% per annum.

Required documents
The following are the documents required for the TEKUN Mobilepreneur 4.0 application.
- Financing application form (JPP02 / JPP25 / JPP17)
- Passport size applicant’s picture
- Copy of identity card of applicant and spouse (if applicable) – front and back
- Copy of valid B1 / B2 driving license
- Motorcycle purchase quotation from a legitimate supplier – for motorcycle purchase application
- Copy of valid motorcycle grant – for motorcycle repair application and working capital
- Copy of valid motorcycle road tax – for motorcycle repair applications and revolving capital
- Photo of the applicant with the motorcycle (need to see the motorcycle registration number) – for motorcycle repair application and working capital
- E-Hailing Company support letter / Proof of registration with e-Hailing Company
- Copy of savings bank book/applicant’s bank statement (first page and last transaction)
- Copy of one of the utility bills (electricity/water / telephone)
- Map of the location of the house from the nearest TEKUN Branch Office
