How crazy can a doctor goes?
A Surgeon Asking Additional Money in the middle of the operation is how crazy some doctor can go!

This all happens to a 20-year-old patient, who was undergoing an operation at a hospital in Dalian, where she was asked to pay more money for add-on procedure by her surgeon.
The patient who is identified only as Jiang Meng, was diagnosed with cervical erosion and would required a surgery. While carrying out the surgery, the surgeon tell Jiang that she had another medical problem that also needed urgent attention to it.

The surgeon then presented her with a card printed with a QR code and said the additional procedure would cost 1,860 yuan (USD286). I am surprised that a surgeon is carrying the QR code card when doing operational and clearly he is up to something!
The poor patient was left with no choice but she only 600 yuan in her account at the time. She had to use her WeChat Pay account to pay part of the add-on money. She cleared up the difference later, according to a local media report.
After completing and leaving the hospital, the patient was concerned over the matter and she seeks for second opinion from a different doctor/hospital on this surgery. The other doctor told her that the second surgery was totally unnecessary.
Jiang later wrote about her experiences on Weibo and her post was seen by the Health and Family Planning Commission in Dalian, which contacted her and launched an investigation into the matter. The surgeon is now under investigation
