Selangor’s Low-Income Families Gets Rm50 On Children Education at Kindergartens Level
In order to alleviate the living burden of the people of Selangor, the Selangor State Government reopened the application for the Child Care Assistance Fund (TUNAS). The deadline for applications is September 30, 2020. Through this program, the Selangor state government will distribute RM50 a month to families who send their children to kindergartens. The RM50 aid will be distributed directly to the kindergarten.
The application conditions for the child assistance fund are very simple, that is, the family income must not exceed RM3000, and only children aged 5 and 6 years old. The kindergarten the child is attending must have been registered with the Selangor Education Bureau and other relevant units.
Eligible people can visit http://tunasv2.yawas.my/admin/mohon_online.php to apply. Applicants need to attach specific documents, that is, a copy of the child’s birth certificate, a copy of the parent’s Malaysia card, and salary slips.
Application conditions:
- Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen
- Applicant must meet any of the following conditions
- The father or mother was born in Selangor and settled in Selangor
- The child was born in Selangor and settled in Selangor
- The parents settled in Selangor For more than 5 years, a proof of settlement is required
- Family income does not exceed RM3000
- Husband and wife are employed or not working
- Only children aged 5 and 6 years old
- Only registered kindergartens
