Security Commission Gives Bitcoin Cash The Green Light on Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETC), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC)

The Securities Commission (SC) has approved Bitcoin Cash (BSH) as a digital asset in Malaysia. Where Malaysians will soon be able to buy or sell BSH on authorized cryptocurrency platforms on tokens such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETC), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC). The approval for the Bitcoin Cash was revealed by SC Executive Director for Digital Strategy & Innovation, Chin Wei Min where this is counterproductive to their goal of getting more people to get used to this platform.

He also added that the SC is open to engage and approve more digital assets and the current 5 are the most traded at the moment. At the moment, Malaysia only has 3 digital asset exchange (DAX), Luno, SINEGY and Tokenize, which has been approved for cryptocurrency trading. Recently, they have also issued a few potential scams and investment issues on unauthorized platforms such as Remitano is illegal and another unauthorized platform also included Binance and eToro. At the moment, Bitcoin Cash is valued at RM3,447, while Bitcoin is currently priced at RM211,393.
