Sabah Reported Earthquakes Strikes Twice within 3 Hours on 18 April

On the night of 18 April at 11.10 pm, the Malaysian Meteorological Department has posted on their Facebook that an earthquake has occurred in Ranau, Sabah. The earthquake was located 11km west of Ranau, Sabah with a magnitude of 2.8 and it was relatively shallow as it was only 10km deep. However, the earthquake then returned for the second time at 1.05 am which took place at the epicentre of 14km west of Ranau which struck with a magnitude of 2,7 and was 14 km deep.
