Riding Bicycle On The Road Increased to Rm5k Fine From RM1k
The Royal Malaysian Police announced that this will result in a fine of up to RM5000 and jail time! The Royal Malaysian Police issued a statement on Facebook that they could be fined up to RM5000 for dangerously riding a bicycle on the road.
Cycling should be a very healthy activity, but if people ignore the rules on the road, it will lead to tragedy. Riding a bicycle dangerously will violate the law. If convicted, you can face imprisonment for not more than 12 months and a fine of not more than RM1000 and not more than RM5000.
